BEE ACTIVE (TfGM) - Cycle Training

This summer, why not learn how to cycle as a family and explore Greater Manchester? As schools close for summer holidays, now is the time for families to explore all the walking and cycling routes that Greater Manchester has to offer.

Perhaps your family all know how to cycle, but you are not confident cycling together as a family? If that is the case - we can help!

Click here to find out more and what adventures await.

Our free family cycle sessions provide families with up to 6 hours of free training to learn how to cycle together on the road. You can register your interest here, and one of our qualified cycling instructors will get in touch to start you on your training journey.

We think it's amazing, but don't just take our word for it. Some our recent feedback from families:

"The instructor was very patient with my grandchildren. I have been out for a successful ride to the park with them now. Both children used what they had learnt from the training to cycle safely."

"Building up our confidence with straightforward coaching and advice."

"It's brilliant, more families should do it and more people made aware of it."

(Please note: training is available to anyone who lives or works in Greater Manchester, guardians and children all need to know how to cycle, and must have access to a roadworthy bike.)
