REACH Activity Providers

REACH wants to work with an array of activity providers across the borough Rochdale and neighbouring areas to ensure we have a rich and wide-ranging offer available for our young people.

Activity providers are invited to work with us in the following ways

  • Highlighting an activity, club or programme you offer that young people can access outside of school within our Hub directory.  We’ll use the information you provide to signpost young people to your provision.
  • Adding a one off community activity, event or open day to our Hub calendar.
  • Highlighting an in school activity or enrichment related CPD offer to school staff.  We’ll use the information you provide to signpost teaching staff to your provision.

There are several ways you can get involved:

  • Contact us via the email address and we are happy to discuss (via an online or face to face meeting) what you can offer or simply answer any questions you may have about REACH.
  • Email your calendared event or open day and we can ensure this is promoted on REACH and with our schools.
  • Deliver an online "Spotlight Session" presenting offer.
  • Attend the School Leads REACH Meetings which take place online and face to face each term.
  • Can offer any tasters to schools and /or any staff training.
  • If any of your offer can be delivered on school premises.
  • Can offer a Work Experience placement or a Volunteering opportunity.
  • Want to attend assemblies or career type events (can include employer speed networking, career fairs, mock interview sessions etc).
  • Access the following link to register your enrichment offer and contact information online: Provider Offer Spreadsheet   Provider Information Document
Altus Education Partnership will check all registrations and reserve the right to refuse any request from Activity Providers we feel does not meet the expected standards.  Altus work with Rochdale Borough Council’s LADO and promotes the ‘Safe After School’ campaign.

As an Activity Provider, you may be interested in the LOtC (Learning Outside the Classroom) Quality Badge?  This is the only national award assessing both the quality of risk management and educational provision across all types of learning outside the classroom providers including museums, city farms, theme parks and adventure centres.  The award is recognised by the Department of Education and Welsh Government.  To find out more, please access LOtC Quality Badge - Council for Learning Outside the Classroom
