Rochdale Education and Learning (REAL) Trust is a unique type of public service using new insights into old problems. We are keen to provide schools with motivational and pedagogical support so that, through this increased training and awareness of our school staff, we are able to make the education experience of our children and young people the best it can possibly be and ultimately bring about positive and long lasting change. Young people experience a range of aerial skills such as trapeze, silks, hoop and cocoon. We give opportunities for young people to perform their skills in the community.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of circus skills which will include unicycle, juggling, diabolo, stilts, trapeze, silks and hoop.  You will also be able to perform in Skylight shows.

We can work with just one class or the whole school throughout the day. Children and young people can learn a range of circus skills. Skylight can visit your school or schools are welcome to attend our venue in Rochdale.

Side by Side is a family session targeted at young people struggling with their mental health. The class helps to improve confidence and self esteem, supporting families to work together to overcome difficulties.

Badminton is a great game suitable from 2 to 4 players It is a very sociable sport and provides a great workout as players build stamina, agility, strength, speed, and good reactions as they move around the court.

Reach new heights climbing with our indoor climbing wall at Littleborough Sports Centre. All of the climbing sessions are provided by qualified staff, who will show you some games and techniques to get you climbing and help your progression. We are also able to provide the necessary safety equipment. Our indoor wall at Littleborough Sports Centre offers a variety of routes and three overhangs to test your skills, located in a sports hall the wall is an ideal place to come down and learn a new activity.

These informal sports sessions are for children and young people aged 11 – 19 years old, living in the borough. Everybody is welcome!

Us Girls is designed to increase young women’s participation by removing the barriers which affect girls accessing sport, fitness and exercise. Sessions are all about fun, fitness, music and friendship with the main aim of improving wellbeing and building confidence.

Hollingworth Lake is a popular venue for windsurfing due to the good clean winds and a large water area. We have a wide variety of boards and rigs to meet the requirements of all windsurfers from beginners to those working towards instructional qualifications. All of our windsurfing activities are run to the guidelines and recommendations of the Royal Yachting Association, the governing body for windsurfing in Great Britain.
