The Apple Fair celebrates Falinge Park's heritage and 2025 marks 120 years since it became a public park. The event will see 7 Heritage Variety Apple Trees planted to establish the new Heritage Orchard.
Our apple-themed community event is planned around this activity and will include;
* Apple-themed competitions - Apple Dash, Apple Toss, Apple Shy & Apple Bounce.
* Alternative BBQ - Plant-based food
* Plant-based sample stall with recipe cards
* Health/Wellbeing/Library stalls
* Possible craft stalls
* Possible physical activities/sports
