Rebecca Whittaker School of Hair
A fun, hands on practical experience to provide young people with a basic understanding, knowledge, skills and behaviours which will enable them to progress within the hair/beauty industry. The weekly enrichment session will take place on a Monday after school at the Simply Special salon, located in the centre of Rochdale.
This fun, interactive weekly enrichment session will cover a range of skills relating to the hairdressing industry and will include shampoo and conditioning, brushing/hair combing, blow drying, how to use tongs, wands and straighteners, different plaiting techniques including french, dutch and fishtail and ways to put hair up.
These hourly sessions will commence at 4pm until 5pm on a Monday during school term time from 9th September 2024.
