UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is a great way to help inform students about UK Parliament, take action and make an impact on the issues they care about, whilst developing their debating and voting skills and learning about democracy.
Last year, over 1.6 million people took part in every nation and region of the UK, and countries all over the world.
Schools/Academies will receive a free kit packed with resources when you sign up and you can pick and choose from the options in the booklet or tailor your UK Parliament Week activity to suit whatever time you have available and to the age groups. 9000 kits have been ordered already!!
Over 10,000 activities last year, UK Parliament Week celebrated in lots of ways: lively debates and quizzes, creating petitions, discussing issues and holding votes, baking and crafts and meeting an MP and local councillors, either face to face or online.
