Rochdale AFC Community Trust - Stadium Heroes: Volunteering

Stadium Heroes is a 6-week work experience programme which supports individuals back into the workplace. 

Using Rochdale AFC's Crown Oil arena, completing functional skills, students have the opportunity to try different roles around the ground including ground-keeping, maintenance, sports coaching, cleaning and media, to name a few.   

Working in different areas of the ground and business allows learners to have a great insight into each role within the Football Club.

If this is a programme you are interested in, come along and make a difference to your local Football Club. 

We started with the Wonder Wall, tidying up, de-weeding and planting flowers to make it welcoming for all our visitors.  We then moved on to painting the front of the ticket office, transforming the area with a coat of paint.
