1st Middleton St. Leonards OGS Explorers Scout Unit

Explorers is the fourth section of the Scouting movement accommodating young people aged between 13.5 and 18.

We welcome ANY young person from a Girl Guiding/Scouting background, or you maybe completely new to uniformed groups.  

At Explorer, all young people are encouraged to try something new, develop essential life skills and make good and lasting friendships.

Together, with our young people, we develop an exciting and adventurous program of activities for them to access.  This can range from backwoods cooking, hammock camping, teambuilding, day trips out, weekends away at Blackpool as examples.....the list goes on!

We meet every Thursday evening at the Scout Hut behind Alkrington & Providence Church, Manchester New Road, Middleton, M24 1LB.  Session times are 7pm until 9pm.

Subs are paid monthly via direct debit, after a four-week trial.

We currently have places available for young people to join us.

We are also going to embark on the Silver Duke of Edinburgh award later this year, which is optional to the young people.
