Kenshintai Kai - Traditional Japanese Ju-Jitsu

A small, independent club who are non-profit making. Come along and try our introductory 6-weeks beginners class, have fun and meet new people. FIRST TWO SESSIONS ARE FREE!

Founded in Middleton in 1980 by Sensei Steve Crooks (4th Dan Judo, 4th Dan Ju-Jitsu and 2nd Dan Iaido), for the study of traditional Japanese Martial Arts.

Ju-Jitsu is hundreds of years old and very few traditional styles exist as most styles practice BJJ (Brazilian Jui-Jitsu).

The techniques that we teach are suitable for anyone of any age as they do not rely on power or strength.

If you have an interest in Japanese culture (even if you don't!), come along and try something new.
