Exhibition inspired by Bend It Like Beckham at Richard Street Studio

Iqra Saied’s first solo exhibition, Desi United, is opening on Thursday 23rd April at Richard Street Studios in Rochdale.

‘This exhibition reflects my love for the film, Bend it like Beckham. Desi United explores the space between tradition and ambition, football and femininity. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share this work which has resonated strongly with people - including the brilliant director Gurinder Chadha.’
