We’re reaching out again to ask for your support with this fantastic opportunity for families across Rochdale.

Phase 2!

We’re reaching out again to ask for your support in the next stage of our Rochdale Public Health commissioned project to increase and improve access to inclusive physical activity opportunities for children and young people aged 0–25 with SEND and/or SEMH needs.

As you know, this multi‑phased, co‑produced initiative is rooted in lived experience, professional insight, and community voice. We’re still in Phase 1: Consultation and Co‑Design, and your support continues to be vital in helping us reach the children and young people whose experiences will shape the direction of this work.

January 2026 sees the launch of the Children & Young People’s survey, designed to gather views directly. This version of the survey includes symbols to support understanding, can be translated into different languages, and works well with read‑aloud tools such as iPhone/iPad “Speak Screen”, Android “Select to Speak”, Windows Narrator, and Mac VoiceOver. These features help ensure the survey is accessible to as many children and young people as possible.
