Playbox in Balderstone Park

A giant Playbox full of games and activities is coming to Balderstone Park in Rochdale! Playbox in the Park will provide families with four days of free activities. At the centre of the event is a giant Playbox (a shipping container full of play equipment) that will be opened and facilitated each day by the team from Playful Anywhere. On each day of the event, different cultural organisations from Rochdale will deliver free creative activities alongside the Playbox including: den building; circus skills; arts; and games inspired by the collection at Touchstones. Open 10am - 4pm, Sunday 9 August - Wednesday 12 August. Children must be accompanied by adults.

Playbox in the Park has been funded by Arts Council England Place Partnership funding, secured by Rochdale Development Agency and supported by Rochdale Borough Council and Touchstones.
