Join us for a very special afternoon on Thursday 25 June exploring how creativity and the outdoors can empower children to explore the world and develop skills. This event is for professionals who work with children in any setting including primary schools, nurseries and private childcare providers. The session will take place at Sunny Brow Nursery in Middleton and will include time outdoors in their Forest School but we'll also be sharing ideas for activities that you can deliver in settings with limited outdoor space.

Storytelling Workshops

We are now offering storytelling drama workshops to primary schools. Our storytelling workshops use drama to explore what makes a good story and how we can use our imagination, bodies and voices to tell them! We model a joyful, playful approach where children's imaginations, creativity and expression are nurtured in a safe and fun environment. Delivered by highly skilled drama practitioners and suitable for EYFS, KS1 & KS2. For more information contact admin@m6theatre.co.uk and to view our full primary offer visit our website.

The Incident

We completed our digital tour of The Incident reaching nearly 4500 young people in Rochdale and Greater Manchester.

"The session was clear and accessible for all pupils. It provided an excellent opportunity for insightful discussions about healthy relationships."
Teacher, Falinge Park High School

Thank you for delivering such a powerful and engaging workshop based on The Incident. The discussions were extremely beneficial for our pupils and provided a safe, supportive space for them to explore a range of important RSE themes including consent, peer pressure, healthy relationships, boundaries and personal responsibility - was both age-appropriate and impactful."
Head PSHE, Edgar Wood Academy

The resource is available on our website for teachers and professionals and is suitable for students in Year 9+.

The Storm

Thanks to the Climate Co-operators Fund from Action Together, last term we delivered our Creative Climate Workshops to 167 KS2 pupils. These fully funded sessions for Years 4, 5 & 6 explore the connection between the past, present and future. We will be delivering sessions to a further 7 primary schools this term.
