M6 Theatre present The Incident - a new Digital Resource for Secondary Schools

January 2026 has seen M6 Theatre launch The Incident, a fully funded high-quality digital RSE resource for schools, colleges and youth settings. The Incident is a powerful and emotionally engaging tool designed to support RSE for Year 9-13 students.

The film and accompanying workshop explores themes of healthy relationships, coercive control, consent and emotional wellbeing through interactive and structured discussion with embedded safeguarding measures. The resource supports personal development by helping pupils understand healthy relationships and addressing misogyny and toxic online influences, contributes to safeguarding by educating students about coercion, peer pressure and consent and is an innovative response to emerging risks.
