Boro Full of Beans

Boro Full of Beans is a 2-year campaign to encourage children, young people and their families to eat more beans, pulses and lentils as a sustainable and affordable food supply that is also beneficial to health and the environment.

Rochdale borough councilBeans in Schools!

Bernardo Bean might be small, but he packs a protein punch, as well as being high in fibre, which is great for gut health, and just 3 tablespoons count as one of your five a day!  We’d love every child and young person in a Rochdale school to know more about beans and enjoy eating them to                                                          give them lots of energy and be ‘full of beans’!

There are tool kits and fun activities for children here Beans is How.
