Competition! "What's the best photo sitting on your phone?"

The idea behind the competition is that we are asking anyone to share with us the best, most beautiful, most interesting, hilarious, and/or spectacular photo of Rochdale Town Centre.

There are no onerous rules, just the photo has to have been taken on a phone within the last 12 months.

This type of competition often acts as a catalyst for community engagement and provide a platform to showcase local landmarks, hidden gems and interesting moments.

A webpage (rochdalebid.co.uk/phonephoto26 ) has been created for the competition which contains a form where photographs can be upload. 

Deadline for entries is 21st June and a BID judging will be formed to pick the winning photograph. 

The winner will receive a £250 voucher. 

If the competition proves to be a success, then consideration will be given to how entries can be displayed across the town centre.
